If Claudio Capéo sits this year in the red coach seat of “The Voice Kids”, it’s not for nothing! In a few years, the artist just revealed by “The Voice” has established himself as one of the most popular singers of his generation, through the hits “Un homme Debée”, “Riche”, “Chez toi” with Slimane or even “Plus haute”. And he proves it once again with his latest album “Rose des vents” which has sold more than 157,000 copies thanks to the successful single “Si j’had su” (If I had known). “ We are dealing with children and we don’t want to offend them. We just want to say that they are magnificent, and they are. So making a choice is not easy. We do what we can, we try to be as sensitive and as sympathetic as possible » he says regarding his new role in the red chair.

“There is nothing normal about love to death”

While the grand finale of “The Voice Kids” takes place this Saturday, Claudio Capéo takes the opportunity to unveil a new song: “T’en aller”. And through this heartbreaking ballad co-written with Jessica Burnay and NESS, the artist evokes a strong but also cruelly topical subject: domestic violence and toxic relationships. Three years after Clara Luciani’s “Heart” evoking the same theme, the musician wanted to put words to the evils and send a necessary message. “ He tells you that he loves you and that you are beautiful / He caresses you with rose thorns / He promises you the moon, he promises you honey / He tells you that it’s your fault when he explodes / He hurts you, he hurts you / But there’s nothing normal about love to death » he sings with emotion, encouraging the woman to take off to avoid her husband’s blows: “ But you have to go / And leave these arms of hell / You have to leave the boat drunk / You have to talk about it and raise words so that we can help you ».

With this unreleased “T’en aller”, is Claudio Capéo preparing the reissue of his album “Rose des vents”? No, but instead, the singer announces the release of a best-of!
