It has been several years since Jean-Jacques Goldman bowed out. Indeed, the famous singer preferred to move away from television sets and performance stages to concentrate on his personal and family projects. At 72 years old, the man who worked until 2016 for Restos du coeur, prefers to remain anonymous. However, there are many special occasions for which the interpreter of Comme toi agrees to come out of silence. If he was seen during this summer in Brittany, Jean-Jacques Goldman returns to the forefront on the occasion of a very special event, as reported by our colleagues from La Dépêche, in an article published on Thursday October 3, 2024. A year ago, a communications teacher at Jean-Jaurès University, named Thibault Christophe, who is also an amateur musician, wrote a first novel, entitled LT, Journal d’un an an, published in Caillou editions.
In this book, the author discusses his unconditional passion for the singer. “I went to draw on my personal memories. Quickly, I realized that there was something quite universal in the relationship that a fan can have with their idol,” he confides to our colleagues. Thus, this professor addresses his work to the one who has so much place in his life: Jean-Jacques Goldman. If he tried the first time to send him the novel, it was only during his second attempt that the work, sent to the Goldman fan club, reached the singer who had left (…)
