Only her remained. At the end of a battle on stage between two powerful voices, the Toulouse Sahteene won the match against Chiara Santamaria, during the battles of The Voice on TF1Saturday April 20, 2024.
After shining during his blind audition, she continues her adventure within the show. An experience on the small screen, but also on stage!
A battle full of emotions
“It was a second stage rich in emotions,” confides Sahteene about this battle, contacted by Toulouse News. I’m very close to Chiara, so it was a truly emotional moment. I think she deserved her place just as much.”
Emotions were mixed for Sahteene, between joy and sadness, “it was also a lot of stress! “. The Toulouse woman collapsed in Chiara’s arms after winning the battle. “I will say that the difference in terms of emotions and stress is due to the fact that it is the stage after the auditions. We say to ourselves: that’s it, the adventure has really begun.”
The two young women competed to the music “Russian Roulette” by Rihanna. A real challenge for Toulouse. “It was a new challenge! But I am happy to have been able to get out of my comfort zone by singing in a register that was not mine, I learned a lot.”
“I can’t wait for you to show up.”
During this decisive battle on the stage of The Voice, two coaches voted for the Toulouse woman: Vianney and Zazie, while Mika preferred the voice of Chiara Santamaria.
“I don’t have access to you yet Sahteene, I can’t wait for you to show yourself!” », said Vianney to encourage him. “He’s right, I need to open up more to others and no longer have armor, it’s going to happen little by little,” smiles the Toulouse singer.
The 21-year-old young woman is still “happy and grateful” to have the Toulouse brothers Bigflo & Oli as coaches. “They are caring, give very good advice and listen. It is going very well ! » Next step for the singer, cross battles.
A new adventure for Sahteene
But the music doesn’t stop on the set of The Voice. The Toulouse woman is currently on the tour of “Mozart the Rock Opera”, in China, for three months. “I don’t yet realize what’s happening, I feel lucky to be able to experience this adventure. It’s the kind of experience that makes us grow, whether professionally or personally,” says Sahteene.
The singer plays the role of Nannerl, Mozart’s sister, in this musical born in 2009. A first for the young woman. “This is an exercise that I didn’t know at all! I have never done a musical, which makes the experience even more interesting and superb,” she admits.
In short, Sahteene’s musical adventure has only just begun. La Toulousaine continues to shine in Paris and beyond French borders!
