The Cure had not released a studio album since 2008…

It took a long time. We know that The Cure is a perfectionist band. But still, 16 years… The band’s last studio album was 4:13 Dreamreleased in 2008. Since then, nothing.
Reissues, “official” bootlegs from who knows where, live tracks… And it was The Cure’s recent tour that seriously alerted fans since the band presented unreleased tracks.
The rumor of a new album had been growing for at least 2 years; there was talk of a double album constantly delayed because Robert Smith was not satisfied with the sound, then the arrangements, in short, there was always a problem…
But all that is in the past. Songs Of A Lost World is very real.
The proof is that The Cure made it known with a poster in front of the pub in Crawley, the very place where they had played at the beginning since they were from there.
Finally, each fan was able to receive, by mail, a card officially announcing Songs Of A Lost World with a very dark visual which augurs a very dark atmosphere.
There is just over a month left to prepare for it. Songs Of A Lost World will be released on the 1ster november.
