In the next episode of “More beautiful life, even more beautiful”… Léa and Ulysse only have a few hours left to live. Meanwhile, Jules worries about Yaël, while Eric takes his new married life very seriously.

Friday March 29 in More beautiful life, even more beautiful…
Is Yaël in danger at daycare?
In the early morning, Jules goes to the Le Mistral bar for his second day of babysitting. Barbara is exhausted, because Yaël didn’t sleep through the night. She wonders if he has an allergy, because she noticed redness on his buttocks. Barbara asks Jules if he had, by mistake, used another cream than the one prescribed, but he used the right one.
Later in the day, Jules and Steve walk in the park with Yaël. They notice that most of the women they pass mouse over. Steve said to his friend: “It’s a great asset to have a baby when you’re walking around. All the girls fall for guys who have babies.” But it seems that the young man was wrong. In reality, passers-by think that Steve and Jules are Yaël’s dads.
At the Massalia residence, Morgane takes care of Yaël for a few minutes. Suddenly, she discovers a paper clip on the baby’s sweater. Jules is very surprised, he is sure he left nothing lying around. If he is not the one responsible, nor Barbara, then it can only be the nursery. So, is the baby really safe there?
Ariane’s plan turns sour
Barely installed at Ariane’s, Eric is already putting the apartment in order: alcohol bottles, empty fast-food wrappers, overripe bananas… everything must disappear. He informs Ariane that he is going to buy kitchen utensils, as well as fill the refrigerator with fruits and vegetables.
A few minutes later, he decides to start cooking, which does not displease Ariane. Suddenly, Zoé arrives and faces the authority of her new stepfather. Eric orders her to take off her shoes at the entrance, and put her bag in her room. The teenager pouted.
The time has come for Armand Billard, from Child Welfare, to visit the apartment. He is pleasantly surprised and declares to Ariane: “From you to me, you tick all the boxes to welcome Zoé”. Ariane offers to taste the dish that Eric is preparing, when suddenly, the latter bursts into the kitchen.
Eric’s face falls when he sees Armand Billard. And for good reason, he had a one-night stand with this man. The latter abruptly leaves the apartment without giving an explanation. The two best friends are therefore unmasked. Will Ariane still obtain her approval?
Time is running out for Léa and Ulysses
Among the Nebouts, tension is at its highest. And for good reason, Patrick is angry with his wife for having tampered with Louise Raveneau’s medical file in order to protect Léa, who made a medical error. Babeth tries to justify herself, but Patrick replies: “It is certainly not by committing a crime that we help”. Finally, the policeman regains his calm and tries to comfort his wife who is consumed by guilt.
At the police station, the brigade discovered that an abandoned utility vehicle had been found last night, around fifty kilometers from Marseille. The tires match the footprint found in the wasteland, but the vehicle has been thoroughly cleaned. There is therefore no way to find the trace of Léa and Ulysses.
Meanwhile, on the island, Ulysses is in bad shape. And for good reason, he had a bad fall while trying to climb the rocks. He died of thirst, but Léa tells him that they must ration themselves, because they no longer have much water at their disposal.
Unfortunately, Ulysses’ wound becomes infected. Léa tells him that he needs antibiotics. Ulysses replies: “How long do we have to live without supplies?” The doctor cannot hide her concern and declares: “In your state, no more than 48 hours“.
Among the Keplers, anxiety is also rising. Vanessa failed to obtain information from the prosecutor. This announcement triggers a panic attack in her daughter. Ophélie repeats over and over: “I need him”. Vanessa promises her daughter to find Ulysses.
As Sybille is about to be transported to the remand center, Patrick catches up with her to ask her one last time where the prisoners are. Suddenly, Vanessa appears and aims her gun at the kidnapper. A police officer tries to stop her, but in the process, a bullet hits Sybille in the heart. The latter collapses to the ground, taking her secret with her.
