The Oscar race continues. Co -produced by the company Ikki Films, based in Tours, the short animated film Beurk! was appointed to the cinema Oscars, Thursday, January 23, 2025.

A previous appointment in 2018
This is not the first time that the company based in Tours has seen one of its short films named in the prestigious American ceremony. In 2017, Ikki Films co -produced Negative Spacea short film that had been appointed to the Oscars the following year.
-With Beurk!Ikki Films hopes this time to leave with the golden statuette. The short film has also already been awarded at various festivals in 2024, such as that of Chicago or Rio (Curta).
