The Circular Ring 2, presented at CES 2025, integrates a functionality capable of producing an electrocardiogram and detecting atrial fibrillation.
The French manufacturer of connected rings Circular manages to make a name for itself at CES 2025 with its new ring. The second generation of its Circular Ring, presented at the Las Vegas show, has the addition of an electrocardiogram (ECG).

Spotted by Tech Crunchthis announcement is relatively impressive, since no major player in the sector has tried to integrate this technology in such a small format. Even Samsung, accustomed to the ECG on its Galaxy Watches, had not integrated it into its Galaxy Ring.
Elegant integration
As a reminder, an ECG on a connected watch will use electrical signals to analyze the health of the heart and, if necessary, identify possible pathologies. In the case of the Circular Ring 2, the ring is, according to the manufacturer, capable of detecting atrial fibrillation and will for its part be based on a PPG sensor. The latter is a device using the reverberation of projected light.
According to the first feedback from the American press who were able to see it in the corridors of the show, despite this integration, the brand would have managed to provide a remarkably light product.
The manufacturer also promises better autonomy, amounting to 8 days of consecutive use. The application would also have been reworked for a more intuitive result. On the other hand, this second generation abandons the vibration motor. This should return in a next iteration, explained the co-founder of the brand to our colleagues atEngadget.
Prices and availability
The Circular Ring 2 will be available in February or March in four colors: gold, silver, black and rose gold. You will have to pay 380 dollars to obtain it. We do not know the price in euros at this time.
