Lupita Nyong’o is starring this week in the prequel to the A Quiet Place: Day One saga. In this new installment of the franchise launched in 2018 by John Krasinski, the actress plays Samira, a young woman who finds herself trapped in New York when alien creatures arrive. Directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig), the feature film mixes science fiction and intimate drama and expands the universe of the franchise.

For the actress, shooting a film in silence was a real challenge. Lupita Nyong’o specifies on our microphone: “You really have to listen to what’s going on, watch, observe and react. We cannot be touched by this magnificent story.
