[Comics] The adaptation of The Rise of Skywalker announced for 2025! • Comics News • Star Wars Universe

Hello everyone!

Well, if there is one name that seems to resurface from beyond the grave, yes from beyond the grave, it is the title of this comic book adaptation that we thought was canceled: The Rise of Skywalker ! Almost five years after its announcement, complete fans will be able to add this opus to their shelves, thus completing the series of 9 films in the Skywalker saga.
According to bleedingcool, the adaptation that fans had stopped waiting for will begin its publication in the USA on February 26!
As a reminder, Jody Houser (already screenwriter of the adaptations of Thrawn et Rogue One) will be present on the screenplay, and Will Sliney (Solo, The Rise of Kylo Ren) will officiate the drawings. It will be the shortest adaptation of the Disney era, in only 5 issues (compared to 6 for episode VII, 6 for episode VIII, 6 for Rogue One, and 7 for Solo). We whisper the presence of cut scenes… the result is likely to be surprising given the fewer outcomes than for other adaptations…
