Souillac. “Le Panache”, a touching film with the Lions Club

As part of its humanitarian action, the Lions Club of Rocamadour, in partnership with the Le cinema in Souillac, is offering the screening of the film “Le Panache”, by Jennifer Devoldère, with José Garcia, Joachim Arseguel and Aure Atika. The session will take place on Saturday November 23 at 6 p.m. (single price: €5).

The screenplay by Cécile Sellam and Jennifer Devoldère is adapted from the play “In the Skin of Cyrano” by Nicolas Devort. Presented at the 2024 Film Festival of Tomorrow, it won the audience prize!

“Le Panache” delivers the poignant story of a stuttering teenager’s quest for confidence; a lesson in courage and friendship. José Garcia plays Mr. Devarseau, a charismatic French teacher who becomes the mentor of a young stuttering student, Colin, played by Joachim Arseguel. This unexpected duo carries a story where difference becomes a strength.

Joachim Arseguel, a promising young talent, delivers a moving performance as Colin, a lost teenager, in search of his voice, literally and figuratively.

A beautiful tribute to Cyrano de and the power of words.
