This year, the cinema festival will be held from June 30 to July 3. The opportunity for all cinemas to set up very affordable prices of 5 euros per screening.

If June 21 is synonymous with the music festival, we too often forget that it is followed by the cinema festival. Created in 1985, the Cinema Festival is a cinema promotion operation taking place every year in June. Unlike the music festival which only lasts one day, the Cinema Festival takes place over four days.

This year, it will therefore take place from Sunday June 30 until Wednesday July 3. For four days, all the cinemas, around 6,000 in number, will open their doors to the public at unbeatable prices. In fact, all the films on display will be available at the price of… five euros!

However, this rate will not apply to 3D, 4Dx and IMAX screenings which will be subject to the usual supplement.

Thrills and comedies at unbeatable prices

In any case, the cinema festival will be the perfect opportunity to discover the films on display which have just been released or which will be released next week. For example, the sequel to Vice-Versa, released this June 19, is the film to share with your children. On June 26, it will be possible to discover “Kinds of Kindness” with Emma Stone or the new adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo with Pierre Niney.

If you like thrills, the prequel to “Without a Sound” is also released on June 26 while “The Watchers”, directed by Night Shyamalan, is already in theaters. On the French comedy side, “La Famille Hennedricks”, directed by Laurence Arné with Dany Boon, will try to be one of the great cinema surprises of the year.

2024 was a historic year for French cinema with the incredible success of the film “Un p’tit truc en plus”, directed by Artus, which crossed the milestone of 7 million admissions in less than two months. This cinema festival will therefore also be an opportunity to catch up if you still haven’t gone to see it.
