Florence Pugh joins a crack team in the latest trailer

Marvel revealed a new trailer for “Thunderbolts*” as part of the D23 Brazil event taking place in Sao Paulo this weekend. Unpublished images of Florence Pugh in the skin of Yelena Belova and her shock team have been revealed.

Humor and action. This is the promise of the new trailer for “Thunderbolts*”, revealed at D23 Brazil organized by Disney in Sao Paulo, this weekend, by Marvel Studios. Expected in theaters on April 30, two and a half months after “Captain America: Brave New World”, the film will feature several faces known to fans, starting with Florence Pugh in the role of the assassin Yelena Belova, last seen in the series “Hawkeye”.

Sebastian Stan and Wyatt Russell reprise their roles as Bucky and John, after their last appearance in the series “Falcon and the Winter Soldier”. Julia Louis-Dreyfus will be Valentina Allegra de , a character recently seen in “Black Panther 2”. David Harbor returns to the role of Alexei, aka Red Guardian, and Olga Kurylenko that of Antonia, aka Tasmaster, after their appearance in “Black Widow”. Finally, Hannah John-Kamen returns as Ava, aka Ghost, since “Ant-man 2”.

The mystery hovers

The mystery surrounding the plot of “Thunderbolts*” still hovers, starting with the presence of this asterisk which was added to the title (Bucky Barnes assures in the trailer that the nickname of their group will not hold), without let us know why. We know that it is Valentina Allegra de Fontaine – who is the new owner of the Avengers Tower sold in “Spider-Man: Homecoming” – who organizes the meeting of all these characters as the new director of the CIA. Without knowing the exact reason.

Note the presence of Lewis Pullman in the role of Bob, aka Sentry (a role which was intended for Steven Yeun before he gave up his place due to his schedule), an anti-hero with a dual personality endowed with powerful powers. As well as that of Harrison Ford in the credits as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, aka Red Hulk, who will have a predominant role in “Captain America: Brave New World”. One thing is certain however, “Thunderbolts*” promises to offer fans a pure blend of action and humor that they will remember.
