The spectators have not forgotten the final scene ofAvengers Endgame during which the superheroes face Thanos and where Captain America brandishes Mjolnir, Thor's famous hammer. Few Marvel characters are worthy of lifting the famous magic weapon: a new name has just been added to this short listand it's about a vigilante who will soon arrive in the MCU!
This X-Woman is worthy of Mjolnir
Poor Thor: Marvel keeps providing him with new “adversaries” likely to take ownership of his famous hammer…. After revealing that these characters are worthy of lifting Mjolnir, the House of Ideas is not going to stop there. The Thunder God's main weapon has the characteristic that “Whoever holds this hammer, if worthy, will receive the power of Thor“. This almost indestructible mystical artifact is as inseparable from the Asgardian vigilante as is Captain America's starry vibranium shield. However, he will have to share his hammer with a superheroine soon to appear in the MCU: Tornado!
Prior to the distribution of What If saison 3 on Disney+, Marvel teased the arrival of two new characters, one of which is one of the fans' favorite mutants: Tornado. Previously played by Halle Berry and Alexandra Shipp in the saga X-Men from Fox, the superheroine is one of the most powerful vigilantes discovered by Charles Xavier. Her real name is Ororo Munroe, she is recognizable by her dark skin, her mane of white hair and her blue eyes invaded by white when she uses her powers. The young woman will be a sort of equivalent of Thor in the next season of What ifand she will even be able to lift Mjolnir! A situation that has already happened in the comics, and that viewers will discover on screen from December 22 on Disney+.
