He’s going to break Fury Road’s record.
The duration of Mad Max has been increasing for 40 years. We don’t know how long it will last Mad Max 10 in 2064, but we know that Furiosa: A Mad Max sagawill be the longest in the history of the saga so far.
According to a recent tweet from Twitter insider “Cryptic4KQual”, the final duration of Furiosa was set at 2 hours and 28 minutes. That’s almost half an hour more than Mad Max: Fury Road, which lasted two hours. It’s also 1 hour longer than the first opus of Mad Max (1h25 in 1979), which was 10 minutes less than Mad Max 2 (1h34 in 1981), which was also 10 minutes less than Mad Max 3 (1h47 in 1985)…
George Miller’s film, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Christopher Hemsworth, will be released on May 22, 2024 in France in cinemas, following its Cannes premiere.
