I never had a doubt that I was going to wear it. I have fought all my life to be world champion and to achieve this goal is incredible. I'm delighted to put this number on this superb Aprilia and I hope we can take it to the top too.”underlined the Madrilenian, who also wanted to display his old number, 89, on his new mount.
“No particular expectations” for the coming season
“I don't have any particular expectations for this season, I'm just going to give everything and do my best to get good results. I'm very excited, I can't wait to ride the new bike. I already feel good, it's like a new family. I am proud to be a driver of an official team”added the 26-year-old Spaniard, who had won the crown with a satellite team, Ducati-Pramac, a first in history.
