MotoGP – Which rider has experienced the most crashes in 2024?

This year again, MotoGP riders were not spared from crashes. The end of the season therefore gives us a new opportunity to take stock of the drivers this year, to realize that some did not do things by halves.

In pole position, we find the rookie of this campaign, Pedro Acosta. At mid-season, the Spaniard was still behind Marc Marquez, with twelve falls. The last ten races, however, have seen him explode his score. The KTM rider thus completes his first year in MotoGP with a total of 28 loss of control.

The eight-time world champion is not far away, however. Still looking for the limit on his Ducati, Marc Marquez has crashed a total of 24 times this season. That is three more than his brother Alex, third in this ranking.

Behind them, other KTM riders complete the top-5. Jack Miller and Brad Binder fell 20 and 19 times each.

As for the two contenders, Pecco Bagnaia wins his duel against Jorge Martín. The Spaniard's 15 approximations, however, occurred much more often during Practice, when the Italian's nine often came in the race, when points are therefore awarded.

Luca Marini ends the year with the status of starting driver who records the fewest crashes. The Honda rider lost his RC213V just four times in 2024.

On the French side, Johann Zarco fell from his Honda 15 times, while Fabio Quartararo found himself on the ground 9 times with his Yamaha.

Last year, Marc Marquez ended the season with the most crashes during his last campaign with Honda. He then had a score of 29.
