Dorna was finally able to officially confirm the holding of the final of the MotoGP world championship in Barcelona instead of the event planned in Valencia, the weekend of November 17.
Show must go on. Following the cancellation of the last round of the season which was to be held in Valencia, a region devastated by floods of an unprecedented scale and which caused hundreds of deaths, the Grands Prix will have a 20e test this season. And this will be held a few hundred kilometers away, on the Barcelona circuit already visited in May and won by Pecco Bagnaia. A Grand Prix which will be contested in a context heavy with emotion, and also with significant sporting implications. “Instead of riding in Valencia, MotoGP will ride for Valencia, its region as well as all the people affected by this disaster,” details the press release from the FIM and Dorna.
