MotoGP: Remy Gardner back on the Yamaha M1 for the Japanese Grand Prix!

Next weekend, Remy Gardner will make his comeback to MotoGP for the third time this season. After replacing Alex Rins in Germany and participating as a wild card in the British Grand Prix in place of Cal Crutchlow, the Australian rider, usually entered in WorldSBK on the Yamaha R1, will be at the start of the Japanese Grand Prix from October 4 to 6 on the M1 of the Iwata factory.

Related to Yamaha since his arrival in Superbike in 2023, Gardner returns to the Motegi track, where he has not raced for two years. Its presence is explained by the prolonged absence of Cal Crutchlowrecovering from an injury, and by the will of
Yamaha to strengthen its presence on its soil with a wild-card driver.

Contrary to Silverstonewhere it sported a distinct livery, this time the third YZR-M1 will wear the official colors of Monster Energy Yamaha.
Gardnerenthusiastic about this new opportunity, expressed his motivation and desire to contribute to the development of the team:
