“Does Golden October still exist in 2024?” says meteorologist Kathy Schrey from “Wetter.net” in her latest forecast for the coming days. Because of the thick clouds, the heavy rain and the freezing cold temperatures, he already seemed lost. However, the calculation for the weather in Berlin and Brandenburg was made without the innkeeper!

Saturday (October 12th) marks the beginning of this. With lots of friendly sunshine and temperatures around 12 degrees, it will be a beautiful autumn day. During the night and on Sunday there will be another small setback: “It will be really wet” in the region, says Schrey. And the temperatures are not necessarily friendly either at 13 degrees.
The temperatures are rising
But it won’t stay that way for long! Because on Monday and Tuesday we can look forward to a sun and cloud mix with up to 19 degrees! After the rainy Sunday, “calm” is coming our way due to a high pressure area.
On Wednesday there will be even more movement in the weather in Berlin and Brandenburg. “We seem to be breaking the 20 degree mark!” explains the meteorologist euphorically. “Golden October seems to be prevailing.” Because the high pressure area brings us warm air from southeastern Europe.
