She forced him to “change a habit”.. King Charles finally fulfills his wife Camilla’s request.. What did she want?

King Charles responded to his wife’s request to change his daily eating habit, after years of refusal, as he used to choose to skip lunch.

According to a report from the British newspaper The Mail on Sunday, the king agreed to follow Queen Camilla’s advice about eating lunch, with a source who spoke to the newspaper claiming that the king was forced to start eating lunch every day.

The report added that the 75-year-old king had always skipped lunch, claiming that he was too busy to stop and eat. However, “on the orders of his wife, aides and doctors, he reluctantly began eating in the middle of the day to maintain his strength.” .

The source explained: “With some hesitation, he now has something to eat at lunchtime for a really snack. He now eats half an avocado to keep himself strong throughout the day. It’s important, especially if you have an illness.”

For its part, British Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024, and it was later reported that Queen Camilla did not want Charles to share his cancer diagnosis with the general public, but she was “rejected.”

For his part, Queen Camilla’s son, Tom Parker Bowles, said in his new book, titled “Cooking and the Crown: Royal Recipes from Queen Victoria to King Charles III,” that “Charles’s doctor says that the treatment is going well.”

Bowles also revealed that his mother, Queen Camilla, was as strong as she could be while her husband underwent cancer treatment: “She’s strong, my mother.”

The Queen’s son claimed that Charles only agreed to eat half an avocado every lunch, and that the King is a big fan of the food.

In an article he wrote for the British newspaper the Daily Mail, Parker Bowles said about his stepfather: “There is no man who knows more about food and agriculture than the king, from the best types of British cheese, to rare breeds of sheep and cows, to varieties of plums, apples and pears,” continuing: King Charles is keen to eat as much fresh food as possible every day.

He continued: “Just like the kings before him, his kitchens were filled with seasonal bounties from the royal estates and gardens, from game, beef and lamb, to peas, strawberries, raspberries and watercress, along with formal banquets,” adding: “Tea as a midday meal is a tradition that has continued throughout the world.” Ages.
