The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, on Saturday, that the general weather conditions will be characterized by local thunderstorms with hail in the southeast, in the northeast of the desert regions of the Kingdom, the Anti-Atlas, and also in the south of the eastern region.
Thunderstorms will form, accompanied by scattered drops or some showers, in the High and Middle Atlas, their eastern slopes, and the north of the eastern region, with raindrops accompanied by scattered thunder in the Tangier region, the western Rif, and Loukkos, and it is likely to affect the northern and central coasts during the coming night.
It is also expected that there will be relatively strong wind gusts in the eastern region, the Atlas, the northern desert regions, and locally in the northern and central regions.
Minimum temperatures will range between 13 and 18 degrees in the Atlas Mountains and the eastern high plateaus, and between 22 and 28 degrees in the plains west of the Atlas, within the Souss region, the Muluya Valley and the northeastern desert regions, and will be between 17 and 23 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.
Temperatures will drop during the day in most parts of the Kingdom.
The sea will be calm to slightly rough on the Mediterranean coast and in the Strait, rough between Casablanca and Ras Ghir, and slightly rough to rough on the rest of the coasts.
