Suspension of the distribution of gas bottles in the wholesale trade
This Wednesday, a ship carrying 5,000 tonnes of gas intended for domestic use docked at the oil quay of the port of Bizerte, coming from Algeria.
The director of the “Agil-Gaz” center in Bizerte, Saleh Al-Barkaoui, told the Tap agency that his team had activated all logistical means and mobilized the necessary personnel to ensure the rapid unloading of the ship. The objective is to fill domestic gas cylinders and transport them to the different regions of the north, particularly the northwest, which is currently facing an intense cold spell.
For his part, the governor of Bizerte, Salem Ben Yaakoub, chaired a working meeting at the headquarters of the governorate, bringing together all the parties concerned, in order to take the necessary measures to ensure the continuity of gas supply in the region.
