RC Lens has mandated the influential Portuguese agent, Jorge Mendes, for the possible transfer of Abdukodir Khusanov. This was confirmed by the Lens sports director, Diego Lopez, in an interview with L’Équipe.
“We decided to sign a mandate”
“Because we decided, in the club project, to do it. We put all options on the table. We analyzed a lot and we decided with Pierre Dréossi to sign a mandate. It is the result of an internal market analysis, the price of a transfer and many other factors,” explained Diego Lopez.
For their Uzbek central defender, who stood out in the eyes of Europe this season, the Artesian leaders would expect between 25 and 30 million euros. As a reminder, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle would be in the ranks of Abdukodir Khusanov.
