Gilles Fages, in Sigean, never stops collecting trophies. With his architectural company, he obtained new recognition in the innovative housing challenge of the Pôle Habitat FFB. Two trophies rewarding two achievements: gold in the renovation category with “La Grande maison” in Peyriac-de-Mer and silver in the remarkable achievements category with “L’Hermitage” in Narbonne.
On the 2025 list of this 22e Innovative Housing Challenge was attended by seventeen member companies and thirty-two partners of the Pôle Habitat FFB.
For L’Hermitage, it was a construction stopped at the above-water stage following a dispute over the height with the neighbors. The house is finished by the builder in order to offer it for sale, but the new owners will then entrust a new project to Gilles Fages in order to adapt their home to their desires by modifying and enlarging it through numerous adaptations and extensions as well as the development of the surroundings and the creation of additional facilities including a 25 m swimming pool2a cinema, a cellar…
For La Grande Maison, it was a matter of renovating a traditional 360 m2 mansion from the villages of Languedoc2 in an advanced state of disrepair. The project included the complete repair of the roof, the upgrading and restructuring of the structures and spaces in the different parts of the building. All this made it possible to offer five guest rooms and two private apartments benefiting from a high level of equipment and interior decoration.
