A multiple vice-champion of promotion formulas
Born February 11, 2002 in Hastings, Liam Lawson began karting at the age of seven and distinguished himself with two national titles in 2014. In 2015, he moved to single-seaters by participating in the Formula First Manfeild Winter Series and finished vice-champion. He confirmed his talent the following year in the New Zealand Formula First Championshipwhere he was crowned best beginner thanks to a victory and several podiums.
In 2017, he flew over the NZ F1600 Championship Serieswinning 14 of 15 races and becoming the New Zealand’s youngest Formula Ford champion.
In 2017, Lawson became involved in championship australien de F4won five victories and finished vice-champion. In 2018, he joined the German F4 championship, signs three successes and ranks vice-champion again. 2019 marks a turning point, marked by a coronation in the Toyota Racing Series, a new vice-champion title in Euroformula Open and his discovery of F3, resulting in a final 11th place.
