“The most congested day of this weekend will be Friday December 20, in the direction of departures,” notes the traffic forecast service.
This day will thus be classified orange at the national level in the direction of departures.
“All the roads should be very busy”, predicts Bison fut, “in particular congestion towards the Alps (A43 and access to the Mont-Blanc Tunnel), and the Mediterranean coast (A7, A50 mainly).

“The first slowdowns could be recorded from the end of the morning, on the axes which converge towards the A6 and A10 motorways”, notes Bison Futé, with traffic throughout Île-de-France potentially difficult until early evening.
On Tuesday, Christmas Eve, Île-de-France will remain classified orange in the direction of departures.
“Traffic conditions during the morning will be the most favorable,” recommends Bison Futé, with the first slowdowns expected for the end of the morning.
