The meeting thus highlighted everyone’s efforts to maintain, albeit a little slowly but consistently, activity in the ring. “The office did what was necessary to ensure last season and make the club function on a sporting level despite the administrative complications,” recalled Gilles Maccagnan. The latter underlined the faithful support of private financial partners but also the subsidy obtained from the municipality by the club’s treasurer, Laurence Bosi.
If the time of national results and the big gala seems far away for the club, it nevertheless remains with around fifty licensees and very present on the local scene where it is represented at each event, but also during departmental solicitations and those at the regional level, with the federation. So the boxing club was still at the Gauge festival last school year or during the day dedicated to adapted sport at the stadium.

Its mission will thus be to relaunch the training of the youngest and to supervise future competitors, including girls who lift their gloves, in competitions at the departmental and regional levels.
