Seized by an interim relief procedure by the Hauts-de-Seine prefecture, the Cergy-Pontoise administrative court suspends the closed session requested by the Nanterre town hall for the match between Nanterre 92 and an Israeli club. The mayor of Nanterre announced on Monday that he had issued a closed-door order for this match. “Considering the particularly tense national and international geopolitical context resulting from the situation in the Middle East since October 7, 2023 […]it is ordered that the match which will be held in the Palais des sports Maurice Thorez in Nanterre be held behind closed doors. The presence of any public is prohibited”the town hall wrote in its decree.

This meeting takes place as part of the 6th day of the Basketball Champions League at 8 p.m. It was already held behind closed doors during the first leg, in Hungary, on October 8.
