Hundreds of North Korean soldiers were victims of the Russo-Ukrainian war in the Kursk region of Russia. That’s the latest estimate from a senior U.S. military official. The number includes both lightly wounded and soldiers who died in action. This information comes to us in a context of intensification of Russian offensives.

Anton Sokolin is correspondent for the North Korea News. He highlights the lack of a reliable source for information on North Korean soldiers, but was able to analyze Ukrainian documents.
« What we can see is that [les soldats nord-coréens] look surprised and frightened. In one video, a drone flies overhead and hits a group in a snowy field. In fact, their reaction is to run in all directions, trying to escape the drone. They are simply unfamiliar with this type of warfare, and with the terrain, which is wide plains. Movements are very easily detectable, for drones. »
