The months follow one another and are the same for Carrefour which jumped by +2.3 points in value market share to 21.1% on FMCG-FLS between November 4 and December 1, 2024. An increase equivalent to the previous month which can be explained according to Kantar by the great dynamics of hypermarkets, proximity and the online circuit. The whole being boosted by external growth with the repurchase of Cora, Match and some stores Casino.

It is for this reason that the group of Musketeers gains +0.8 pt via all its banners (Intermarché, Netto and proximity) to reach 17.0%. Likewise, Auchan Retail benefits from the recovery of Casino stores and records a gain of +0.4 pt at 9%.

At constant scope, Coopérative U displays the same performance as Auchan Retail: +0.4 pt at 12.2%. A solid performance which is based on the increasing purchasing frequency at U.

As for discount brands, Lidl recorded an increase of +0.3 pt to 8.4%. Kantar specifies that this is the 7th consecutive period of market share gain. For his part, Aldi gained +0.1 pt to 3.0% thanks to an increase in purchasing frequency.

Finally, Leclerc is still in the green: +0.1 pt to 24.7%. A result which consolidates the strong growth achieved by the brand since 2023, namely +1.6 pt gained compared to 2022.
