– The founder of Mango died suddenly on December 14 after falling more than 100 meters in the mountains.

On Saturday December 14, Isak Andic tragically died at the age of 71 after falling more than 100 meters in a ravine near the Salnitre caves, in the Montserrat massif. The Spanish businessman, great mountain enthusiast, died before the eyes of his son, Jonathan. And it is the latter, always designated as Isak’s future successor, who should in all likelihood take over the reins of Mango.

If we know so little about Jonathan Andic, 43, it is because, like his father, he is very reluctant to give interviews. With absolute discretion, Jonathan will not stand out from Isak on this point. As indicated by the Spanish press, including the newspaper The Confidentialwe know of Jonathan Andic that he studied in a large school in Barcelona and later in a boarding school in Switzerland then in the United States before entering the family business in 2007. During his lifetime, Isak Andic was already considering giving him his place, by training Jonathan in the exercise of power within the board of directors.

With the death of the patriarch, Jonathan’s role may no longer be limited to that of administrator. Although his appointment as head of Mango remains to be confirmed, he will obviously play a very important role. Just like his two sisters, Judith and Sara, who Spanish observers predict will enter one way or another in the governing bodies. Judith, the eldest, knows the company well for having worked there as designer. Sarah, for her part, studied fashion in London but until then had never joined the family company.
