A large plume of smoke was visible over Osoyoos Lake on Saturday afternoon.

While the BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) indicates that the fire of Lone Pine Creek represents only 0.0009 hectares of Canadian soil, forest fires know no borders and the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (WSDNR) estimates that the fire ofEagle Bluffs extends over more than 1,000 hectares on US soil.
