The body of a white shark was found last week on shore near Parrsboro, between the Bay of Fundy and Minas Basin, Nova Scotia.
The beast is a male with a length of about 8 feet.
Officials of the Marine Animal Response Society (MARCH) were called upon to intervene.

The Halifax-based organization said Tuesday it does not know the cause of the animal’s death at this time. A necropsy will be performed to find out more.
One of the photos posted by MARCH shows what looks like a wound on the animal’s back, near the tail.

There were a few external injuries on the animal which were observed once it was brought to our attention. However, we do not know if these were caused before or after death. We will also examine this, if possible, during the necropsy
says MARS director Tonya Wimmer.
She points out that it is becoming less and less rare to see white sharks in the Bay of Fundy, even if no in-depth study has yet looked into the question.
