This Saturday, January 25, 2025, they intervened in Triel-sur-Seine (Yvelines) for a risk of pollution of the Seine.
«Polystyrene balls were scattered across the Seine. They were not retained by a dam and left from a company which treats water in Triel,” indicates the Yvelines departmental fire and rescue operational center (Codis 78).
-22 firefighters mobilized
Part of these polystyrene balls have been received, and the other will be recovered later. “In total, 22 firefighters were involved in this operation,” said one of them.
