False motorcycle pilot or haute couture stylist, Tony Peillon, 29 -year -old multi -registist scammer, appears from Friday before the Tarn criminal court for accusations of rape and sexual assault on six victims of his repeated scams.
The quantity of false names he used, the many lives he invented quickly earned him to be nicknamed the local press “Rocancourt du Tarn”in reference to Christophe Rocancourt, famous for having scammed several French and American stars.
Abandoned very young in Thailand where he was born, Tony Peillon was adopted at the age of 3 by a French couple. His adoptive parents divorced when he was 16, before he left his home by majority.
The expert psychiatrist mandated by justice detected a “Predatory character”as well as a “Trend to abuse seduction, manipulation, even grip”.
Condemned on eight times, for scams and traffic offenses from September 2014 to March 2021, Tony Peillon joined Ukraine in February 2022, he explains to the investigators, to set up an advanced medical position from where to launch humanitarian missions .
In reality, he endorsed a new identity as a former special forces, according to Le Parisien, and defrauded by volunteers up to 6,000 euros. He was incarcerated upon his return to France, in March 2022.
Alleged rapes in Occitania
His years of duplicity caught up with him when a victim of his scams, heard by the investigators, revealed that he had also raped her.
-Then five other alleged victims of rapes or sexual assaults were identified. The facts were reportedly committed between the end of 2015 and early 2021 in Rennes, Albi (Tarn) and Narbonne (Aude).
These women “were due by the various stories that Mr. Peillon had invented”told AFP Quentin Blanchet Magon, lawyer for two victims. He would have stolen money from them, and even a dog for one of them. Then, in addition to having scammed them, “took advantage of them”.
According to the testimonies of the alleged victims before the investigators, the accused found a way to sleep with them or in the same room.
Faced with the suspicions that they could then have been drugged, toxicological analyzes did not detect GHB, the “rapist drug”in their body.
Tony Peillon claims to be innocent. “He does not deny having known most of the victims, moreover, for the most part, he also does not deny the existence of (sexual) relationships, but which are granted”tells AFP one of his two lawyers, Baptiste Bourqueney.
During the investigation, the young man claimed that these furious women that he had cheated them, had gone against him to invent false accusations. An explanation that the investigations did not make it possible to corroborate, according to legal documents consulted by AFP.
His trial before the Tarn criminal chamber in Albi must last until January 29. Tony Peillon faces up to 15 years of criminal imprisonment.
