The animals were found dead between January 8 and 10. The City of Gigean then filed a complaint and the mayor called on him to monitor his animals in the Curel and Embosque sectors. In a press release dated January 21, the association which ensures the protection of animals One Voice also announced that it was filing a complaint.

In the said press release we can read: “On behalf of the animals killed in Gigean, and in support of that of the mayor of the town, we sent our complaint to the Montpellier judicial court.” One Voice continues: “the murderous intent is beyond doubt”.
