Six women have filed a complaint against Tony Peillon, a 28-year-old Franco-Thai who grew up in Albi, in Tarn.
Six similar cases, between 2015 and 2021 and across the four corners of France. According to the victims' testimony, in the show Sept à Huit, each time the scammer established a relationship of trust with fragile young women, he could even be protective and caring.
A victim accuses him of having raped her in her sleep on New Year's Eve 2016. Another young woman suspects him of having first drugged her, before raping her too.
“From theft to rape”. This is how one of the victims' lawyers describes the Tony Peillon case. According to him, the Tarnais man first thought of defrauding the young women, and ended up committing the sexual act out of opportunism.
-Until then, he has always denied the accusations of rape and sexual assault, facts for which Tony Peillon remains presumed innocent.
His trial before the Tarn criminal court will be held from Friday January 24 to Wednesday January 29.
He faces up to 10 years in prison.
