SLO Judo, second club in Haute-

The members of the office are now as follows: president: Cyril Frêche, technical director: Jérémy Jonval, secretary: Barbara Losa, assistant secretary: Raja Lebourgeois, treasurer: Franck Rollot, assistant treasurer: Gaëlle Daire, coaches: Alain Herbulding, Mauro Rizzo, Justine Furier.

SLO Judo held its annual general meeting on Friday January 17, at 6:30 p.m., at the André-Guérin dojo, in the presence of around forty licensees, Dominique Laurent, mayor of Bettancourt-la-Ferrée, and Marie , President of Uslo.

The president, Cyril Frêche, underlined that the year had been busy for SLO Judo both in terms of activities and competitions. The club currently has 156 members, a new record, an increase for the club which benefited from the Olympic Games effect. SLO Judo is the second largest judo club in Haute- and the third association in Uslo.

A busy year 2024

The year 2024 was very rich for the club with participation in many activities.

The graduates participated in several courses and outings including an oxygenation course in Gérardmer. The end of season gala, the inauguration of the André-Guérin dojo, the labeling of the club by the French Judo Federation, the presentation of black belts, punctuated the season.

Interclub training sessions were organized with other clubs in the Saint-Dizier sector as well as development courses.

The club has participated in various events, the Grand Slam, the passing of the Olympic Flame in Saint-Dizier with torch bearers. Supporters went to Olympic venues during the Olympics.

The 2024 financial report was validated by the members.

Very good sporting record and projects

Jérémy Jonval, technical director, presented the sporting results for the year 2024 which are very positive. The graduates have participated in numerous competitions and several regional and departmental courses. Eighteen podiums were obtained among young people.

For the remainder of the 2024-2025 season, SLO Judo will go to the Paris Grand Slam. An oxygenation course and the traditional gala will take place. Improvement courses and training are planned. For this year, the club aims to conduct more regular training on high-level structures. “Keeping the family spirit of the club and training are priorities for the future of the club. » Other black belts are expected for the year 2025.
