The signatories of the South Lozère Recovery and Ecological Transition Contract (CRRTE) met to take stock of 2024 in the premises of the Gorges Causses Cévennes community of communes in Florac-Trois-Rivières, on January 9. The main funders (State, Department, Region), the communities of communes Gorges Causses Cévennes and Cévennes Mont Lozère, and the Cévennes National Park were present.
This contract, concluded for the period 2021-2026 between the State and PETR Sud Lozère, aims to identify projects contributing to territorial dynamism while promoting the ecological transition. It also makes it possible to bring together a conference of financiers with a view to optimizing everyone's financial interventions on community subsidy files.
Twenty-seven projects processed in 2024
The ecological transition is at the heart of the system in South Lozère with three main directions: continuing the adaptation of the territory to climate change by including South Lozère in the ecological transition; develop a sustainable economy that relies on local resources and shared governance; act for balanced and supportive development that promotes and strengthens living together.
