The Minister of Labor, Employment and Relations with Institutions of Senegal, Abass Fall, was recently visiting Qatar.
Accompanied by a strong delegation, he managed to secure 1,000 job opportunities for Senegalese people.
These jobs are distributed across several sectors such as technology, science, medicine, logistics, among others.
A dedicated platform, hosted at the Ministry of Employment and mainly at the Employment Directorate, will be set up to collect candidates’ CVs.
These will then be integrated into the platform.
Recruitments will be carried out in a transparent manner, on the basis of interviews organized with candidates, according to the needs expressed by the Qatari government as well as by private companies.
-The Employment Department, in charge of managing this process, will ensure the communication of all the necessary information to candidates and stakeholders.
This initiative constitutes a new step in strengthening relations between Senegal and Qatar, while offering real professional prospects for qualified Senegalese.
These agreements are also part of the fight against illegal emigration and promote the promotion of decent work.
