He highlighted the significant contribution of Senegalese in the diaspora, particularly those established in Ivory Coast, who play, according to him, an important role in the growth of the Senegalese economy. El Hadji Malick Ndiaye stressed that concrete actions will be undertaken to materialize the desire of the new authorities to rely on all the country’s children, particularly those of the diaspora, in order to achieve their development objectives.
“We place a lot of hope in the Senegalese diaspora. We believe it is necessary for you to feel more of the presence of the State at your side. We will increase these meetings, create greater proximity between those who govern and those who are governed, listen to your needs and meet your expectations. I can assure you that the rupture announced by the new regime will not be an empty word,” he declared.

He also recalled the desire of the new authorities to give pride of place to religion in their orientations, to promote a better future for the nation.
