A gas leak occurred on rue de l'Alma in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin (Manche), in the morning Tuesday January 21, 2025.
A torn pipe
The cause of the incident: “a pipe torn following earthworks”, indicates the Manche Departmental Fire and Rescue Service.
-The police and fifteen firefighters from the emergency centers of Cherbourg and Les Pieux intervened. A security perimeter was established.
