Some walkers clearly did not get used to the idea of seeing the vast enclosed space. After the first acts of vandalism in March (cut barbed wire) in the Streupas moor, in Sart-Tilman, four Highland cows were nevertheless put out to pasture this summer.
This weekend, the Research and Teaching Support Unit – Educational and Experimental Farm (CARE – FePex) at the University of Liège denounced new damage that took place between Friday evening and Saturday morning. She launched a call for witnesses: “one or more people, combining stupidity, malice and cowardice, cut the fence wires of the plots of Lande de Streupas. (..) Anyone who thinks they have witnessed suspicious behavior or who has information likely to enable us to identify the offender(s) responsible can make themselves known by sending a message to the e-mail address

or call 04 366 40 39.”And to thank the anonymous users who, from Saturday morning, spontaneously made the effort to place branches at the height of the cut portions to prevent the cattle from getting out.
