In 2025, it will average 58 euros in Paris, 57 euros in Marseille, 55 euros in Nice and Montpellier compared to only 35 euros per month in Rennes.
An increase of more than 20% since 2022
Going back in time, the explosion in home insurance prices is even more spectacular. Between 2022 and 2025, prices increased by 20.5% for houses and 21% for apartments. The increase in bad weather and natural disasters linked to global warming partly explains this trend which is here to stay according to experts. The increase in burglaries in certain regions and the deterioration of the housing stock at the national level are also mentioned as causes of this phenomenon.
