There are 10 of them who signed an open letter addressed to the prefect Pierre Ory, to elected officials as well as to the heads of social organizations in the department. To worry about the budget cuts which threaten their activities because this will have “a certain impact in the deterioration of the social context”, they write then specifying: “a consequent disengagement of public authorities will accentuate inequalities and feelings of social injustice” . Hundreds of solidarity actions carried out in Seine-et-Marne would thus threaten to disappear. The signatory associations therefore want to be involved in the decisions made in this area and not have unconsulted choices imposed on them.
