The road killed again this Friday. A 4×4 vehicle, belonging to the Ministry of Mines, collided with a truck. The death toll was 2 instantly and there were serious injuries. The accident occurred near the village of Gourel Samba Ramata, located in the commune of Boynguel Bamba. The 4×4 vehicle was allegedly hit by a truck on a bend, our source said.
The big truck, which was carrying out a dangerous overtaking, found itself facing the 4×4. The collision was inevitable, continues an interlocutor. The irreparable then happened after a violent shock. Two people died immediately: the driver of the 4×4 vehicle and a lady who was sitting just behind his seat, who is a topographical engineer at the Ministry of Mines. There were also serious injuries, some of whom were evacuated to the Tambacounda Regional Hospital Center. Slightly injured people are treated at the Goudiry Health Center.
The members of the 4×4 vehicle were on a mission to Kenieba on behalf of the Ministry of Mines. It was on the way back that they had an accident. The gendarmerie carried out a report of use and opened an investigation.
