The Loire-Atlantique Classic canceled – News
The 25th edition of the Classic Loire-Atlantique, third round of the Coupe de France FDJ, will not take place in 2025. Initially scheduled for next Saturday March 22, the professional event is canceled for financial reasons.
“This decision does not announce the end of the Loire-Atlantique Classic, on the contrary, 2025 should give a second wind and offer Loire residents the opportunity to see the best French and foreign professional riders. […] We are taking this opportunity to provide our full support to the associations organizing cycling races who, like us, are suffering the full brunt of the loss of subsidies.” can we read in a press release. The organization plans to meet in 2026.
Last year, Paul Lapeira won (see ranking).
