The promotion of equestrian tourism remains the main objective of CDTE 43 (Haute-Loire Departmental Equestrian Tourism Committee), chaired by Franck Barioz.
For this, several meetings are offered to riders, knowing that there are 570 equestrian tourism licensees in the department.
What awaits you
They will start on Sunday March 23, at the Ranch des Orgues in Espaly-Saint-Marcel, with a workshop, to learn how to put on a shoe, in the presence of a farrier.
This will follow: a day hiking from the Écuries de l'Aventure Costaros to discover the upper Loire valley with a visit to the castles of Arlempdes and Beaufort (April 6); an outing to the Herm equestrian farm in Saint-Julien-Chapteuil as part of National Horse Riding Day (May 25); and an outing to Siaugues-Sainte-Marie to discover the roar of the deer (September 27).
But also…
CDTE 43 will also support several events such as the Défi nature des cavaliers d'en Haut in Chambon-sur-Lignon (May 18) or the ACRO Trec in Puy-en-Velay (June 29).
-If there is still a little to do regarding the rehabilitation of the Caracolade, then the committee will concentrate its efforts on the Ecrin vert du Velay, another circuit which also needs a little overhaul.
