How unstable the coaching job is. Sergio Conceiçao's successor learned this the hard way.
Last June, Sergio Conceiçao left the FC Porto after 7 years, and almost 500 matches on the bench of the Portuguese club. On December 30, the man who won three championships, three super cups, four Portuguese cups and a League Cup signed as the new coach of AC Milan.
-But clearly, the legacy left by Conceiçao is far too heavy. His replacement Victor Bruno had difficulty accepting it. Eliminated from the two national cups, the 42-year-old technician suffered a defeat (1-3) Sunday on the Gil Vicente lawn, during the 18th day of the championship.
One defeat too many which forced President André Villa-Boas to fire Vito Bruno. However, all is not lost for the Dragao club. FC Porto is 4 lengths behind the leader, Sporting Portugal.
