A terrible tragedy occurred on the A64 between Tarbes and Tournay this Wednesday January 15. A teacher from Reunion and his partner died in a road accident.
The two victims were aged 45 and 49. The school teacher taught in Reunion. He and his partner tragically lost their lives while they were on vacation in France.
According to initial information, a truck crossed the central reservation and hit the couple's car. The truck driver tested negative for alcohol and drugs. However, he would not have respected his rest time. The hypothesis of drowsiness is therefore put forward by the investigators.
-A judicial investigation has been opened for homicide and involuntary injuries.
